Elaia is the northernmost beach of Messinia and is only 10 km from Kyparissia. One of the elements that makes it unique is that the river Neda flows into it.
Its waters are crystal blue and crystal clear, while every year it hosts the eggs of loggerhead sea turtles. If you’re lucky and a morning type, you might see them swimming in the shallows! The entire area is included in the protected areas program of Triphylia.
The pine forest behind the beach is one of the largest in Greece and makes the landscape seem exotic. If you want, you can enjoy your bath freely or get what you need from the beach bar on the beach!
